The original prototype for profile translation included the ability to set multiple translation points. That prototype had usability issues unrelated to allowing multiple translation, but the feature was left out of the current feature redesign. I believe the usability issues with the prototype had nothing to do with allowing multiple translation points and bringing that feature back would make certain types of experimental work easier.
Implementation Tasks
Allow configuring multiple translation points.
Allow resetting translation to any existing state.
optional Allow translation to points not pre-configured (immediate, plan search).
optional Allow translation points to be overridden for specific coffees.
optional Improve visual feedback on current and upcoming translation points (redo panel indicator).
